Carrollton, Georgia based, Plan B Solutions has partnered with two local Keep Georgia Beautiful affiliates for individual E-waste recycling drives this October 2008.
Keep Carroll Beautiful & Southwire in their efforts to responsibly recycle electronics at their semi-annual E-Recycling Event this October. The event will include electronic equipment. Computers, monitors, printers, VCR/DVD players, fax machines, etc. will be accepted. All hard drives are sanitized of all sensitive information according to Department of Defense standards, or destroyed upon request. A certificate of recycling will be issued to Keep Carroll Beautiful once all components have been inventoried and sorted. For televisions, there is a $10 fee.
The event will take place Saturday, October 11, 2008 from 9:00a.m.-1:00p.m.in the Southwire Resource Center Parking Lot, 1128 South Park Street, located across from Publix Shopping Plaza in Carrollton. This is a free event and will be held rain or shine.
Keep Columbia Beautiful will hold their event from 9AM-1PM at a location to be determined on Saturday October 18, 2008. This also is a free event and will be held rain or shine. The event will include electronic equipment. Computers, monitors, printers, VCR/DVD players, fax machines, etc. will be accepted.
